APPLICATIONS

Copper Clad Steel (CCS) tracer wire offers the mechanical strength of steel combined with the electrical conductivity of copper. It is widely used in underground utility locating systems, grounding networks, directional boring operations, pipeline installations, bonding applications, renewable energy projects, overhead grounding systems, and various communication support applications.

MANUFACTURING STANDARD

Conductor: Manufactured using solid or stranded Copper Clad Steel (CCS) conductors with approximately 21% conductivity. Available in Annealed, Stress Relieved, High Strength, and Extra High Strength grades. 
Insulation:
Polyethylene insulation applied concentrically for reliable protection and durability. LLDPE is standard, while HDPE is available upon request.
Identification:
Product markings typically include manufacturer identification, conductor size, voltage rating, applicable certification marks, and product type designation.
Packaging:
Supplied on standard reels or spools in various lengths to suit installation requirements and project specifications.
Standard:
Meets or exceeds the requirements of ASTM B3, ASTM B910, ASTM D-1248, UL 2989(not listed), RoHS.
